The ninth annual
Scottsdale Institute
Conference, “From
Strategy to Reality—Leading the Cultural
Transformation,” was held April 18-20, 2002,
at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona. One
hundred executives from leading healthcare
organizations participated in what turned out
to be one of the Institute’s most interactive
and dynamic conferences. Sublime weather
provided a relaxed backdrop to the sessions,
which focused on changing the culture of
healthcare to the new paradigm of a
consumer-centric, team-oriented model built
upon reengineered, IT-enabled processes.
