Thérèse Franco, MD

Dr. Franco received her MD degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. Following residency, she served as Chief Resident at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. In 2009, she joined the section of hospital medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center. She currently works at Virginia Mason Medical Center as hospitalist and has a one year appointment as a research fellow at the Center for Health Care Improvement Science there. She is a Senior
Fellow in Hospital Medicine and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. In 2017, she received a patient safety award for her work on glycemic control in the hospital.
