Clinical Decision Support Applications Analyst, Texas Health Resources
Maxine Ketcham is a Nurse Informatics Board Certified RN. She has been with Texas Health Resources for nearly 28 years with the most recent 10 severing as a Clinical Decision Support applications analyst. She holds special interest in CDS Knowledge Management and leads this charge. Her background and work experience also include bedside nursing, continuous quality improvement, physician peer review as well as management within the clinical and performance improvement arenas.
Through her work with venous thromboembolism prophylaxis, Maxine played a major role in THR achieving the Davies Award. She is also a contributor to the HIMSS Guidebook: Improving Outcomes with Clinical Decision Support: An Implementer’s Guide. In addition, she authored the Clinical Decision Support Systems chapter of the recently published Nursing Informatics for the Advanced Practice Nurse.
