Sarah Robertson, MSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM, Clinical Information Systems Specialist, University of Alabama Medical Center, discusses UAB’s use of Fetalink in the OB setting. She describes the processes of plan, build, and design changes for Cerner Ambulatory Project for OB/GYN patients when PowerChart Maternity content is currently in use for the inpatient OB/GYN patient. Included is a description of the implementation of the OB MPage and the differences with the Ambulatory Summary, and collaboration of workflow and practice from the outpatient to inpatient, and back to outpatient for the OB patient.
