Enhanced Recovery After Surgery through EMR Integration

Designed to reduce perioperative stress, maintain postoperative physiological function, and accelerate recovery after surgery, Baptist Health implemented ERAS to minimize variance in clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. In this session, you’ll learn how Baptist Health’s standardization of ERAS components using clinical decision support has led to a 70% decrease in readmissions, 47% reduction in complications and decreased length of stay by 50%.
