Jennifer Aning, BSN, RN is a Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst at UnityPoint Health with ten years of inpatient nursing and six years of Informatics experience. Jennifer has helped lead a nursing optimization focused project group since 2017 with a focus on data driven nursing documentation changes within the EMR. Through this challenging project a set of guiding principles was developed to use as a foundation for the challenges nurses may face with electronic documentation.
