SI 2019 CNIO Summit – Care Standardization: Why and How to Make this Work

The Scottsdale Institute 2019 CNIO and CMIO Summits sponsored by LogicStream and Impact Advisors convened 19 Chief Nursing Information Officers and 18 Chief Medical Information Officers from prominent healthcare systems across the country in Chicago September 18-20. These executives gathered to explore “Care Standardization: Why and How to Make this Work,” with specific focus on reducing the cognitive burden of the EMR, standardizing care, data quality, documentation, managing CDS content and improving clinician satisfaction. As SI’s first combined CNIO/CMIO Agenda the Summits placed special emphasis on developing strong partnerships between CNIOs and CMIOs and resulted in a single, combined white paper report.
