Jim Belanger, Jr. is the Director of Clinical Informatics at Northern Light Health. He has been with the organization for almost 15 years. As director, Jim oversees a staff of 34 Clinical Informaticists, located across the state of Maine. The team is tasked with supporting implementation and adoption of electronic health records throughout the healthcare system.  In addition to his role at Northern Light, Jim has 30 years of collegiate teaching experience.  He currently enjoys teaching a graduate level Healthcare Informatics course. He is very passionate about teaching and is always looking for the best approaches for delivering education. Jim received his B.S. in Management and his MBA from the University of Maine.
