VP, Population Health Intelligence Strategy, Cerner

As the Vice President, for Population Health Intelligence Strategy, Dr. Marc Overhage focuses on developing, deploying and evaluating clinical information systems with emphasis on clinical decision support and regional health information exchange.

He joined Cerner in 2015 as a Chief Medical Informatics Officer, (previously Siemens Health Services). Marc has over 25 years developing and implementing clinical and scientific systems and evaluating their value.

Marc is a graduate of Wabash College and the Indiana University School of Medicine where he earned both his PhD in Biophysics and MD. He completed his residency and fellowships at the Indiana University.

Dr. Overhage is a fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics, a Master of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the National Academy of Medicine.
