Ms. Warner is a health care professional with over 35 years of broad based experience in strategy and finance. Starting her career in direct patient care as a licensed physical therapist and progressing into management roles, Lorrie worked in community hospital, academic medical center, specialty children’s, governmental hospitals, vertically integrated managed care and homecare settings. For the past 20 years on Wall Street in investment banking, she has worked exclusively with the executive leadership and Boards of leading not-for-profit health care companies throughout the United States spanning health insurance and provider businesses as they consider strategic alternatives and major capital decisions. She has negotiated acquisitions and divestitures of health care companies and advised on the structure of affiliations, mergers, and joint operating agreements with transaction values of over $150 billion. She has also raised capital for health care companies totaling over $100 billion; specializing in the development and structuring of health care system financing to facilitate overall system strategy. Selected clients include some of the largest integrated not for profit health care organizations and managed care companies.
Lorrie is frequently a featured speaker on strategic healthcare trends at national forums and at board retreats on topics including “Transformation in an Era of Reform”, “Growth and Capital Strategies for Health Systems”, “Valuation Trends”, “Consumer Driven Health Care”, “Bankruptcy and Distressed Workouts” and “Strategic Landscape of Managed Care”.
Lorrie also held numerous positions in clinical care, management and finance and worked in settings ranging from academic medical centers (NYU Medical Center in NY) to community hospitals (Sutter Health) and managed care (Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan, Boston).
