VP Nursing Informatics and Evidenced Based Practice | Bon Secours Mercy Health

Forty years of healthcare experience including twenty years direct patient care as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ﴾NICU﴿ leading initiatives to introduce evidence‐based practices while leveraging technology to improve the care and outcomes of this vulnerable population. After managing the successful implementation of a Clinical Information System for Neonatology, she joined Information Health Technology as a Nurse Informatics Analyst to support the multi‐year initiative to implement Epic as the enterprise Electronic Health Record at St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho. Post implementation, as the Director of Clinical Informatics, she developed the system Clinical Informatics Specialty. Sue joined Bon Secours Health in August of 2018 as the Chief Nursing Officer and is now the VP of Nursing Informatics and Evidence Based Practice for Bon Secours Mercy Health.
