Data Scientist | Cerner Corporation

Andrew has been a data scientist at Cerner for three years, and currently leads a team of data scientists in the Cerner Intelligence organization. His team strives to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiencies, and financial efficiencies by delivering actionable insights to the right people at the right times. He earned a doctorate degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina and spent two years as an Assistant Professor at Cornell University. Before coming to Cerner, Andrew researched the mathematics of climate change, seeking to explain the causes and effects of cyclical climate phenomena such as ice ages, changes in ocean circulation, and El Niño events.
