SI 2020 CMIO Virtual Summit: The Enabling Infrastructure for Effective COVID-19 Crisis Response

The Scottsdale Institute 2020 CMIO Virtual Summit sponsored by Hearst Health convened 28 chief medical informatics officers from prominent healthcare systems across the country on October 1, 2020. These executives gathered to discuss how health informatics enabled hospitals to rapidly and effectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic starting in first quarter 2020. Informatics delivered new solutions at scale in new ways, playing a central role in enabling new use cases and helping to implement the standard of care for this novel virus as knowledge evolved.
