UW Health Information Services is helping to grow the next-generation of leaders. Through a one-year Mentorship Program, UW Health provides its staff with ongoing opportunities to strengthen relationships and gain skills. Moderator Nathan Hensal, Administrative Director of IS Operations at UW Health, focuses on helping mentees identify their goals and expectations, as well as setting ground rules to ensure successful relationships.
The program has seen success both anecdotally and numerically, with participants feeling more engaged and empowered. To further ensure success, UW Health has partnered with their corporate Human Resources team to bolster a system-wide mentoring program. Nathan Hensal says it best, “When we leave, we’re leaving people in a good place where they can do even better things than we did.” Through this program, UW Health is doing just that.These reports are available only to members.
