Creating a Comprehensive Patient EHR with Device Integration

They review some of the established and emerging vendors and provide anecdotal experiences with each of those vendors. The presentation also provides lessons learned from the field, as well as some points to consider related to implementing medical device integration. Of particular note, the presenters outline some of the strategic implementation challenges that arise from the convergence of biomedical/clinical engineering and information technology, two disciplines that previously have not needed to be partners in system deployments.
