Managing the Alert Process at New York-Presbyterian Hospital

Gilad Kuperman, MD, PhD, Director, Quality Informatics, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, describes the processes being implemented at NYPH to manage quality and efficiency-oriented alerts in their vendor-based CPOE application. Dr. Kuperman will describe the governance models and processes being used to create new alerts as well as to maintain existing alerts.
