SI 2021 Telehealth Virtual Roundtable: National Telehealth Policy Progress and Perspectives

Health systems experienced unprecedented adoption of virtual care as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the national emergency, regulatory barriers were dramatically reduced, facilitating a massive shift and prompting SI Member health system executives to wonder how national telehealth policy might evolve in the ensuing months.

With the American Telemedicine Association’s Kyle Zebley presenting “National Telehealth Policy Progress and Perspectives” on August 4, 2021, 51 professionals from 30 SI Member organizations learned more about the current state of affairs following the rapid changes enacted during COVID, plus what lies ahead.
