Utilizing OpenNotes at University of Missouri

Selva, MD, CMIO, MU Health Care, Professor of Clinical Child Health, Associate Chair Clinical Quality and Medical Director – Department of Child Health.  MU Health Care, in partnership with Cerner Corporation via the Tiger Institute, has become a leader in portal development.   A key component of that development and our ongoing success has been joining the Open Notes movement that is sweeping across the nation.  Our journey is illustrative of the steps needed to assure leadership buy in to assist in the culture change that is necessary for success.
