Pam May, MPH, CPHIE, Corporate Manager; Bill O’Neill, Senior Project Specialist, Mass General Brigham; Bonnie Bruner, RN, Client Success Manager, Clinical Architecture.  Pam, Bill, and Bonnie describe their approach to implementing a tool to improve management of clinical data across multiple content management systems, and clinical decision support engines, regardless of publishing source or end user application.   The use of the tool has streamlined and improved the accuracy of the processes supporting clinical data interoperability, and allowed them to move past dependencies on legacy content, restrictive technology, and manual processes. The team highlights how this strategy has allowed Mass General Brigham to design a flexible approach to mining data insights, incorporating semantic interoperability across multiple data sources, and a flexible data stewardship strategy.
