Ashton Glasgow is a clinical pharmacist working with Palmetto Primary Care Physicians in North Charleston, SC where she serves as a vital member of the Quality Assurance team. Ashton attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and went on to complete a Pharmacy Practice residency at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. After joining Palmetto Primary Care Physicians in 2016, Ashton earned her board certification in Ambulatory Care pharmacy while practicing in a primary care setting helping patients manage their multiple chronic disease states. As part of the Quality Assurance Team, Ashton works on several organizational initiatives designed to improve the quality of care provided to Palmetto Primary Care Patients. Ashton provides patient education both to individual patients and in group classroom settings, helps to educate providers regarding evidence-based therapies and workflow efficiency, addresses drug information questions from providers and patients, and works with several Medicare Advantage plans to ensure that gaps in care are addressed and closed.
