Chief Financial Officer | John Muir Health

Chris Pass joined John Muir Health in April 2009 as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle. During his tenure, Mr. Pass took on the executive leadership role over Analytics, where he was responsible for developing and implementing the Enterprise Analytics Strategy. He was then promoted to Senior Vice President of Financial Operations overseeing the Controller, Revenue Cycle and Enterprise Analytics. In January 2015, Mr. Pass was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer and accepted the permanent position in October 2015. As the Chief Financial Officer, Chris oversees Finance, Treasury, Revenue Cycle, Facilities Management, and Payer Strategy and Contracting for the organization.

Prior to joining John Muir Health, Mr. Pass was the Chief Operating Officer (1999-2009) of PARA Healthcare Financial Services, an industry-leading national revenue cycle firm. He began his health care career in 1995 with Market Insights, providing financial and operational analysis to consulting firms, hospitals and health systems.
