Christy Anderson is the Executive Director for the Banner Innovation Group (BIG) at Banner Health. Her team is responsible for innovating the healthcare experience for all consumers by understanding the friction points and unmet needs. Some of their work includes transforming the wait experience in Urgent Cares & Emergency Departments and building loyalty with new parents.

Christy brings to Banner Health almost 2 decades of strategy and innovation experience from the retail industry. She held multiple roles within Target Corporation, from strategy development and buying to supply chain management and innovation, across various channels. Throughout this time, she developed a keen understanding for what consumers want and need, building upon her Economics degree from the University of Illinois.

She is an innovative leader who builds and inspires high performing teams to deliver profitable results that exceed the consumer’s expectations. Christy is passionate about identifying and anticipating market trends based on consumer behavior and driving strategic growth. She values collaborating to create a culture where individual strengths are combined to solve problems.
