Cindy Levey, MPH

Cindy Levey, MPH, is the Director of Community Benefit Systems and Planning for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  In her role, Cindy builds system-wide initiatives in community benefit and social responsibility, enhances Cedars-Sinai’s community benefit strategic planning efforts, fosters key partnerships, improves Cedars-Sinai’s capacity to analyze and utilize data, leads program evaluation efforts, guides grantmaking and provides leadership for community benefit regulatory compliance.  Prior to her current role, Cindy built Cedars-Sinai’s large-scale school-based obesity prevention programs.  Cindy has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit program management, health systems and policy, and community health improvement.  She has a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Education and Community Economic Development from UCLA and bachelor’s degrees in the History of Public Health from Columbia University and Talmud from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
