Vice President, Adult Critical Care and Medical Professional Affairs, Advocate Aurora Health

As VP of Adult Critical Care, Cindy is responsible for oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of telemedicine via the Electronic Intensive Care Unit for Advocate Aurora Health. In this capacity Ms. Welsh collaborates with Advocate’s 11 hospital, 16 ICU and its outreach sites’ clinical managers and medical directors to improve patient safety and outcomes via various clinical and process improvement initiatives. With a 30+ year nursing career, Cindy has contributed to patient care delivery redesign, nursing management and clinical practice. She holds a BSN and MBA from Lewis University, is a fellow for the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of multiple professional organizations.
