Jean Davis began her healthcare journey in 1979 while still attending high school. Her journey started in the laboratory and expanded to nursing on surgical, geriatric, oncology and she found her greatest passion in caring for mothers and babies. Most of her bedside career was spent in Labor and Delivery. She loved patient care and nurturing the whole family unit. She identifies most with the nursing theorist Jean Watson and the theory of Human Caring.

Jean has been a manger, director, and is now Senior Director in Nursing Informatics for a large healthcare organization in the southwest United States. Her team consists of a group of dedicated, passionate nurses who believe being at the intersection of empathy and technology can make a huge difference for clinicians, patients and their families.

Jean has spoken at national conferences for AWHONN, Cerner and HIMSS. She is presently active in the HIMSS AZ chapter, ANIA and ANA.
