Jeff Brittain, PharmD, BCPS Director, Pharmacy Support Services MUSC Health Jeff Brittain is the Director of Pharmacy Support Services at MUSC Health in Charleston, South Carolina. With his staff, he oversees all aspects of medications safety throughout the health system. Pharmacy Support Services operates the MUSC’s Drug Information Center, facilitates interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate and efficient medication use, and champions a culture of safety throughout the health system. Dr. Brittain has been instrumental in numerous safety and practice initiatives, including conversion of MUSC’s EMR platform, and implementation of MUSC’s automated IV workflow systems. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and preceptor with the MUSC College of Pharmacy. Before joining MUSC, Dr. Brittain enjoyed a variety of practice settings including inpatient hospital pharmacy, home infusion, community pharmacy, and service in the United States Air Force.
