Jessica Hatala is the Nursing Solutions Strategist and Senior Manager of CAPD Business Analytics for Nuance Communications, Inc.  In her role, she oversees development of voice-enabled solutions for nursing documentation as well as development of financial and quality impact analytics for computer-assisted physician documentation tools.

Jessica holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a BSN from Valparaiso University, and a BA from the University of Chicago. During her 18 years in the healthcare space, Jessica has served as a critical care RN, CDI and operations consultant, and in various hospital administrative positions. Through her current role at Nuance, Jessica focuses on initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce RN and provider burnout, and promote the mission of serving patients.
