Kristin Gillen is the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer for HonorHealth. Her clinical background is in Oncology. She has spent the past 15 years in various leadership roles, including house supervision, primary care management, facility leadership and clinical informatics. She obtained her BSN, MSN and DNP from the University of Nevada, Reno, and recently obtained her masters in nursing Informatics from Walden University. Her passion throughout her career has been professional nursing practice. Kristin was the VP of Nursing of the first Pathway to Excellence Hospital in Oregon and the first health system in Oregon to obtain ISO 9001 certification. She has been an integral part of an Electronic Medical Record Implementation at two health systems. She was instrumental in the build validate and implementation of an enterprise wide EMR at HonorHealth.
