Paul Briggs

CFO, HonorHealth

Paul Briggs focuses on HonorHealth finances, which includes financial planning, budgeting, financial risk management and treasury services. His purpose is to ensure HonorHealth has sufficient financial resources to support exceptional patient care and help improve the health and well-being of those served by HonorHealth. In addition to the financial and accounting functions, Paul oversees patient financial services, supply chain, real estate, insurance contracting and construction management.

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, Paul has an extensive background in financial and operational leadership roles with hospital systems, health plans and medical groups.  Before joining HonorHealth he served as the chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Presbyterian Healthcare Services based in New Mexico. Paul also served in senior financial and operational roles for the Carondelet Health System in St. Louis, MO, the Greenville Hospital System in South Carolina and Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound in Washington State. He worked in public accounting before finding his home in healthcare.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and has served on various business, industry and community boards.

He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in accountancy from Brigham Young University.
