Dr. Ruben J. Nazario serves as Principal, Clinical Informatics at Elsevier Clinical Solutions. He and his team work on developing advanced decision support and analytics solutions that help clinicians make better decisions, improve clinical outcomes, and reduce variability in care. He specializes in the interoperability standards and decision support artifacts that facilitate the exchange of information between Elsevier’s solutions and healthcare organizations. Dr. Nazario’s clinical background is in pediatric emergency and hospital medicine, and he has over 10 years of experience in informatics and analytics roles, both in the healthcare delivery and healthcare technology industries. Dr. Nazario is board certified in Clinical Informatics and in Pediatrics, completed an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, trained in pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia, and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville.
