As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, Sandra has practiced general and cosmetic dermatology at Palo Alto Medical Clinic for the past 24 years. Over the last 18 months, Sandra has used Google Glass with a remote scribe for medical documentation. Her passion for improving the patient experience and her extensive use of Google Glass has inspired her to be the primary investigator of a research study evaluating patients’ acceptance of Google Glass wearable technology in an outpatient setting. She is scheduled to present her findings at the upcoming Stanford Healthcare Research and Education Conference and seeking the study’s publication with the Journal of Medical Internet Research.

Sandra received her MSN from UCLA and anticipated Doctorate of Nursing Practice in May 2018 from California State University, Northern California, consortium program. She is board certified as a Family and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetic Nurse Specialist.
