Associate Chief Medical Information Office for Hospitalist Informatics, Baptist Health

Dr Johnston joined Baptist in 2018 as the Physician Informaticist for Hospitalist Informatics with a focus on acute care workflows and optimization. She moved to Jacksonville from Beaufort, SC where I had been serving as Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program. She has been a hospitalist for 10 years and continues to work as a hospitalist at Baptist. She enjoys process improvement through enhancing the EHR and improving quality through information technology innovation. She graduated from Emory University School of Medical in Atlanta. She is currently working on a Master of Healthcare Administration through Colorado State University. She has three children, twin 15 year-old-girls and a 5-year-old boy that keep her on her toes!
