President & CEO of BayCare

Tommy Inzina is the president/chief executive officer for BayCare, a leading not-for-profit health care system that includes 14 hospitals and hundreds of other convenient locations throughout Tampa Bay and West Central Florida. Services include acute care, primary care, imaging, laboratory, behavioral health, home care, urgent care and fitness centers. BayCare also is second,   the largest private employer in the region with more than 27,000 team members.

In 2017, BayCare generated $3.9 billion in total revenue and provided $389 million in community benefit.

Under Inzina’s Leadership, BayCare is focused on realizing its vision of becoming an Extraordinary Team leading the way to high-quality care and personalized, customer-centered health.

Inzina has been with BayCare more than 24 years.  Prior to becoming president/CEO, he served in several leadership roles including chief financial officer, chief administrative officer and chief operating officer. Before BayCare, Inzina spent 10 years at Ernst & Young.

Inzina graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa. Inzina serves in leadership roles for industry and community organizations, such as the Tampa Bay Partnership, the Florida Hospital Association, the Heart Ball Cabinet for the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society’s CEO Against Cancer and the Florida Council of 100.
